Academics
During my time at Dakota, I have taken a wide variety of classes, some of which have challenged me greatly and others that have been on the more fun side. For instance, I have been in advanced level math courses throughout all of high school, starting with Geometry A. I progressed to Algebra IIA, Pre-Calculus, and then A.P. Calculus. I have also taken Chemistry and Anatomy, both of which proved to be on the more difficult side as well. I have also taken my required Language classes, four years of Spanish, two years of Choir, and both Psychology and Sociology. Up until the beginning of my senior year in high school, I was unsure as to what career path I was going to take, so I tried to keep it as broad as I could to prepare for anything. However, looking back, I think this wide variety of classes has helped me prepare for my future in so many different ways.
