Pre-Calculus

Pre-Calculus has been one of my most difficult classes while in high school.  So far, I even think Calculus is easier than Pre-Calc, which probably seems backward to most.  However, Pre-Calculus is all about building the base for Calculus.  I learned the basic ideas in Pre-Calc that we have been learning from in Calc.  Sure, there are aspects of Geometry and Algebra in it, but there are many new concepts in Pre-Calculus.  I struggled with this a little bit at first.  It got better as the year went on, but it was slightly difficult to initially wrap my head around all of it.  Because of this, the quiz that is shown is all self-taught material.  Although this wasn't the most difficult thing I learned in this class by far, it was still challenging to teach it to myself.  We were given assignments with corresponding due dates, and it was up to us to learn the material.  During this time, I better learned how to independently teach myself.  This is a valuable skill to have because I will not always have someone there to teach me step by step how to do something.  Sometimes, it will be left for me to figure out, and since taking Pre-Calculus, I have a better understanding of this.
