Yearbook
I have been able to participate in Yearbook all four years of high school. Beginning as a freshman, I was only given two pages to do. Sophomore year I was given a couple more, plus I was in charge of sophomore interviews. Junior year I was given even more pages to do and some photography jobs. As a senior, I am now in charge of multiple club pages and assisting with all of the senior pages. In addition to this, I have helped call companies to sell ads to fund the yearbook. From Yearbook, I have learned about organization and time management. I am given a due date and am expected to have my assigned pages done by then. It has taught me not to procrastinate because it has to be quality work, not sloppy last minute stuff. Having time management skills are needed for any job in life, whether it be waitressing at a local resturant or managing a business, and being in Yearbook has helped me realize this.
