Literature

Although Literature has never been extremely difficult to me, it is arguably one of the most important classes in high school.  Students learn grammar, spelling, reading and writing tools, and much more in whatever Literature class they're in.  Without the attributers learned in these classes, no one would be successful.  No one will take someone seriously if his/her grammar is incorrect.  As I have stated before, the business world is a competitive place.  If one does not maintain a sense of professionalism, he/she will most likely not get a job.  This sense of professionalism can be upheld through what I have learned in my Literature classes.  For example, the test below demonstrates many tools that I will use in the future.  To study for this test, the class discussed the section very thoroughly.  If a student had not read the assigned part, he/she was asked to stay in the hall for the remainder of the discussion.  In the end, most of the questions that were on this test were ones that we had talked about in the review session.  If I had not been paying attention, I would have done poorly.  If I had not read the section, I would have done poorly.  By reading and participating in the class discussion, I showed responsibility.  Future employers will be able to give me a job and trust that I will get it done.  I was also listening intently on the discussion, which goes to show that I pay attention to detail.  This is also important with most jobs, so I have been working on it in Literature and all of my other classes as well.
