Clubs
By being in high school, one has the opportunity to join clubs and other extracurricular activities. Since I was little, I always wanted to participate in everything I possibly could. In junior high, I was able to be a part of the Junior High Student Council. Once I got to high school, the opportunities expanded in so many ways. I was offered the chance to join as many clubs as I wanted, so I have taken advantage of that. In my opinion, one has to be involved if he/she wants to stand out to colleges. Also by holding officer positions in some of these clubs, it helps to build necessary leadership skills that help with any job. Because of this, I have joined many different clubs with many different areas of focus. These will all help me in the future in one way or the other.
